This is a mask made out of found objects. A wooden spoon nose, view finder eyes and base of a spice rack. All objects relate to a domestic environment.

This is the first piece from a new series titled ‘Domesticated Deities’, a series that looks at the animal as an object of worship aswell as an object of consumption.

This piece is made from a mix of wood, plastic and found objects. This piece is a tribute to Melbourne, the MCG, Steve Irwin and public transport.

“My Father is James Bond and My Mother is a Ninga” is an interactive painting. The face can be spun to create different eyes, nose and mouth combinations. The gun turns into a phone.

This piece was designed for Gorker Galleries opening exhibition Forty Thieves.

Totally Totem is a series of handmade hand painted peppergrinders. These peppergrinders pay homage to the domestic goddess/god.

“Originally the Totally Totem installation started with the idea of making totems for the kitchen [and] playing on the idea of the domestic goddess/god. But then I started playing with the idea that these domestic gods could also be functional. Like a mobile phone that can be used to check emails, take photos and tell us where to go (GPS maps). I like the idea that these totem poles can be both an object of worship and also an essential kitchen item.” – Beck Wheeler 2009

This toy was designed for the release of Beck’s The Information album. The toy was part of an online promotional campaign.

There was a limited edition of 20 toys made. They have a removable bear face, that when unbuttoned reveals a multi-eyed monster.
